The occasional caller

Requirements: be available and able to call in case of emergency.

Some people make only limited use of their mobile phone. In that case it is a pity to buy an expensive device with associated subscription fees. If you rarely use a mobile telephone, for example because the land line still works perfectly fine, you can choose to buy a prepaid SIM card. The disadvantage of prepaid is that if you do not call a lot, the phone credit can expire after some time. You will periodically have to reload and/or use your phone credit to avoid being surprised by a low calling credit amount. Therefore, we would advise you to take a small Ben subscription. This can be for as little as £ 5.00 for 100 calling minutes and/or text messages. Moreover, Ben is known for its excellent customer service.

Because not everyone wants to immediately be tied to a subscription for one or two years, most networks also has SIM only plans for one month.

The typical caller

Requirements: about 200 calling minutes, a little texting and 500MB internet.

Do you call more often than occasionally, but you are not a heavy user quite yet, then you probably fall into this group of callers. Most visitors to our website ultimately choose a subscription with between 200 and 300 calling minutes. And if you want to go online with your mobile phone once in a while, then a bundle of 500MB - provided you make no or limited use of YouTube - is sufficient for most users. Currently, Virgin and Talkmobile have the best deals for this. And if you don't want to take out a subscription for 2 years, then Simyo has a good alternative.

The heavy caller

Requirements: over 700 calling minutes and possibly an additional SMS or internet bundle.

Do you call all day long? Whether it is private or business, you never actually stop talking and want to keep calling untroubled and without worry. Also check out our page with all the different subscriptions for unlimited calling.

The die-hard internet surfer

Requirements: few calling minutes and a very large internet bundle.

In 2018 we cannot imagine our lives without the smartphone. And such a smartphone is generally used more for internet surfing than for actually calling. Are you also completely hooked on your mobile and are you on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the web all day and every day? Are you online more than you call? Then make sure that you can enjoy this optimally with the large internet bundles from 3, EE and Vodafone, among others. You can also get a 4G bundle at most networks for even faster internet.
